Conversations With Kids: Dreaming

Conversations with Kids - Week 1

For parents and guardians where we give you prompts so that you can have more meaningful conversations with your children to help them build key characteristics such as mental toughness, resilience, confidence, creativity, focus and so on.

A Question for your Kids

If you found a magic key that helped you play your best game or competition ever today, what would happen?

Conversations with kids the magic key

Improves:

  • Imagination
  • Positive thinking

Directions for Parents:

This is a great question for children as it opens their imagination up to what they can do not what they can’t. Encourage your child to tell exciting stories about how they’d look and feel on the pitch, court or course and what other people would see in them.

Ideas for Kids:

  1. Imagine in your mind what your magic key would look like? What colour and shape is it?
  2. When you use the magic key what superpowers does it give you when you play your sport?
  3. If on the magic key, there were some special words engraved what would they say.
